What are You Looking Forward To?

Well the holiday season is almost over; for me the 6th January is the end of the season and marks epiphany or twelfth night, the day when the magi arrived at the stable. It marks a link between the Zorastrian religion and the Christian religion.

At this time of year, it seems customary to look back over the previous year, to look forward to the coming year and, of course, to make new year resolutions.

I have covered looking back over the past year in an earlier post (see here). If you are interested in making better new year resolutions, then I recommend this page on new year resolutions. This post is about looking forward to the coming year.

There can be many new, better and unusual things to look forward to in 2008. What are you looking forward to?

Myself, I am looking forward to;

  • better health – many of you will know that I have not enjoyed the best of health during 2007 but I am improving well and looking forward to better health in 2008
  • meeting new people – my work as a coach invariably means meeting new people and this is certainly one of the best aspects of my work.
  • being more creative – as a result of having better health, I plan to have more time for myself and this time I plan to use creatively. I have yet to decide upon which branch of the creative arts I shall try to pursue, possibly I shall write more stories and, maybe, more on this blog but, in any case, I shall be more creative in 2008

What about the rest of you out there? what are you looking forward to?
